Moustapha Fall Faces Long Layoff After Knee Injury, Set to Miss Most of 2025-26 Season

Olympiacos Piraeus has been dealt a major blow ahead of the next season after Moustapha Fall suffered a serious knee injury during their recent victory over Panathinaikos Aktor Athens.

The club confirmed that Fall ruptured his patellar tendon, an injury expected to sideline him for 10 to 12 months. As a result, the big man is likely to miss the majority of the 2025-26 campaign.

This season, Fall appeared in 35 EuroLeague games, contributing an average of 5.8 points, 2.9 rebounds, and an efficiency rating (PIR) of 8.3 in just over 17 minutes per game.

Olympiacos will now face the challenge of adjusting their roster and game plan without one of their key players for a significant portion of the upcoming season.
